Active members who have given birth and are going on government maternity leave, shall apply for maternity leave access from the Alliance. Maternity Leave Access is given to members who have contributed dues for not less than 18 months to the Alliance. A male teacher who is an active ATAG member shall also apply for access for his wife despite the the wife may not be a teacher or member. This access is free and does not attract any form of interest or deduction from an active member.
